Oil Flow Test Rig
One of the critical factors in operating fluid dynamic bearings is the proper supply of oil.
Oil forms a lubricating film that prevents direct metal-to-metal contact and absorbs the heat generated during operation, effectively lowering the temperature of the bearing metal.
For smooth bearing operation, oil must be supplied at a constant and accurate flow rate, making precise monitoring of the supply flow essential.
DYM operates a dedicated Oil Flow Test Rig to meet these requirements, conducting precise measurements and evaluations of oil flow using orifice or nozzle methods.
Through this process, optimal lubrication conditions are secured from the design stage, maximizing the reliability and performance of the product.
