Replacement & Rebabbitting
DYM provides bearing component replacement and Babbitt rebabbitting services to ensure the stable operation of industrial equipment.
Bearings used for extended periods in extreme environments with high temperatures and heavy loads are prone to wear or cracking, which can be a major cause of equipment failure. Therefore, regular inspections and proper renewal work are essential.
After precisely diagnosing the condition of existing components, we replace them with parts of the same specifications or upgraded performance to enhance equipment reliability.
The damaged Babbitt layer is completely removed and re-applied using either centrifugal casting or gravity casting methods. It is then restored to like-new quality and precision through precision machining and dimensional adjustment.
