Safety and Health Management Framework

DYM prioritizes the lives and safety of all employees and partner staff above all other values. To create a safe working environment and fundamentally prevent industrial accidents, we have established a systematic framework consisting of a "Safety and Health Management Policy – Guidelines – Manual." Through this system, we directly reflect management’s commitment to safety and health in the field and have strengthened the foundation for all members to autonomously practice safety activities. Through this systematic management, DYM aims to realize an accident-free workplace and create a healthy work environment where all members can work with peace of mind.

Safety and Health Management System

DYM has established a systematic safety and health management system in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards. We continuously improve this system to enhance safety levels across the workplace. We apply prevention-oriented safety management principles throughout all processes—including risk assessment, emergency response drills, safety education, and accident prevention activities. Going beyond mere legal compliance, we strive to anchor a culture of autonomous safety. Furthermore, by applying the same safety and health standards to all workers, including those from partner companies, we operate an integrated safety management system in which every member of the workplace participates. DYM will continue to pursue "Zero Serious Accidents" by proactively managing risks and internalizing a safety culture.

Safety and Health Implementation Organization

DYM conducts regular risk assessments to systematically manage and preemptively identify hazardous and dangerous factors that may arise within the workplace. In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and internal manuals, we evaluate all production activities, facilities, chemical handling, and work environments. Our principles include initial assessments, regular assessments (once a year), and ad-hoc assessments (before changing or resuming work). The risk assessment proceeds through the stages of: Preparation → Identification of Hazards → Risk Determination → Establishment and Execution of Reduction Measures → Sharing Results and Record Keeping. We focus on practical improvement activities that reflect worker participation and site characteristics. If the evaluation results indicate that risks exceed acceptable levels, we establish and execute fundamental reduction measures—such as facility improvements, procedural changes, or the provision of protective gear—within a designated timeframe. Additionally, by linking risk assessment results with safety and health activity plans, we reflect them in the following year's goals and verify improvements through repeated assessments, thereby realizing continuous safety enhancement and advanced disaster prevention.

Safety and Health Risk Management

DYM operates a systematic risk management process to prevent all safety and health risks in the workplace and to protect the lives and health of workers. Through regular risk assessments, we identify hazards in each process, evaluate their levels, and establish improvement measures. Identified key risk factors are immediately addressed in cooperation with relevant departments, and if necessary, management reviews are conducted to strengthen prevention-oriented management activities.
We also conduct regular emergency response drills to ensure rapid and safe responses in the event of emergencies such as fires or accidents. The results of these drills are immediately fed back into site response procedures and manuals, aiming to improve the safety awareness and practical response capabilities of all employees. DYM will continue to build a safety management system where "Prevention – Response – Improvement" creates a virtuous cycle, realizing an accident-free workplace and a healthy working environment.

Strengthening Safety and Health Capabilities

DYM promotes systematic safety education and a "Zero Accident" campaign to ensure that all employees recognize the importance of safety and health and put it into practice. We periodically educate workers on safety rules and first aid procedures related to hazardous tasks and operate a company-wide safety education program that includes new hires and partner company employees. Furthermore, we strengthen the capability of members to identify and respond to risk factors themselves through practice-oriented education, such as emergency response drills and risk assessment training. In addition, we are expanding the "Zero Accident" movement as a company-wide safety culture campaign, setting accident-free goals for each site to encourage voluntary participation. By establishing safety management plans and engaging in autonomous safety activities involving all workers, we are raising safety awareness and preventing accidents. DYM will continue to push for capacity-building activities centered on education, participation, and awareness improvement to establish a culture where all employees can work in safety.

Safety and Health Goals

DYM recognizes the prevention of industrial accidents as the company's most important social responsibility. Adopting prevention-oriented safety management—rather than post-accident response—as our core principle, we continuously pursue activities to proactively inspect and improve all risk factors within the workplace. We specifically encourage the participation of all employees to create a safe environment where all stakeholders, including workers and visitors, can work with peace of mind. We remain dedicated to realizing a "Zero Accident" workplace. Based on these safety and health goals, DYM will establish a safety culture where prevention, participation, and improvement form a virtuous cycle, creating a healthy industrial site where everyone can work safely.

Achieve the "Zero Accident" goal by prioritizing prevention-
oriented management and proactively eliminating hazards
to protect the lives and property of all workers.

Conduct on-site risk assessments and improvement activities once a year.

Carry out company-wide safety education and emergency response drills at least once a month.

Operate joint safety campaigns in collaboration with partner companies.

Human Rights Management

Human Rights Management

DYM recognizes respecting human dignity and value as a corporate responsibility. We have established a Human Rights Management Policy based on international standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, ILO International Labour Standards, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Based on this policy, we are dedicated to ensuring that the human rights of all stakeholders, including employees and partner companies, are respected.

Supply Chain Management

DYM is pursuing the construction of a sustainable supply chain based on mutual trust and transparent transactions with partner companies. Reflecting international standards such as those from the UN, ILO, and OECD, we have established a sustainable supply chain policy that prioritizes human rights, safety and health, the environment, ethics, and fair trade as core principles. Moving forward, we are operating to ensure that responsible supply chain management is established step-by-step in the contracting and management processes with our partners based on this policy.
